Welcome to the Vortex

Well I had so much fun with the Slow herd of Turtles that I will join this society.

Soeltl Farm is a small livestock raising and selling co-op type non-organization.

We have Guernsey Cows for our Bovine milk supply and Alpine, Nubian, Oberhasli and Toggenburg Goats for our Caprine milk supply.

Right now we use all our milk in the production of Chickens, Turkey, Pork and Veal or just about any other livestock that is good for the table.

Soeltl Farm is a one woman operation with a great deal of part time help from the family. We try to grow good food for family and friends, naturally, humanely without the use of anti biotic unless someone really gets sick. I would not sacrifice any of my critters to sickness and death just to obtain the "Organic" stamp of approval.

We use our Homeopathic remedies instead of medications nearly all of the time. It truly is amazing how well the remedies work.

I would appreciate any information on the above livestock if you have found a way to raise them healthy with any kind of Homeopathic means. Of course husbandry is very important as well as time spent just observing everyone.

It is time to run to animal care (we don't call it chores since it is too much fun). Hope to hear from you.
